Black Diamond School of Engineering, Brajrajnagar The Pre-Independence governance through the then existing feudal system fell short to match the aspirations of people & the development of the nation. Hence, post-independence a democratic set up, with mainstay of development lying with public vis-a-vis private organizations was conceptualized. Development of society requires Heavy industrialization & fast growing economy with national & multinational firms. At the same time, the Indian society also faces social challenges of illiteracy and lack of technical experts. To cope-up with these challenges, so many education societies & institutions came forward with their best effort to make Indian society literate.

Ours Black Diamond Technical Education Society is one in the field of imparting High Quality, compatible Technical Education, situated in the district of Jharsuguda, under Sambalpur region in the state of Orissa, the holy land of LORD JAGANNATH & MAA SAMLESWARI, whose soil is full of mines & minerals and the region Sambalpur as a whole & Jharsuguda as particular is full of small & large industries. Having two decade of experience in the field of education by successfully managing the Black Diamond Group of Education starting from Nursery Level to Secondary & Senior Secondary Level in general education & Industrial Training Institute as well as Black Diamond School of Engineering in technical education.

Black Diamond School of Engineering is the dream come true of our esteemed Founder Sri Anil Singh and is a widely acclaimed unique institute of Western Orissa in the heart of coal city Brajrajnagar. This Institute runs under Black Diamond Technical Education Society, which is a public welfare Society and Engineering enterprise duly registered under Society registration act of XXI of 1860 in the year 1991. The Institute has the approval of AICTE, Govt. of India, New Delhi with an annual intake of 420 students in different branches of Engineering. The Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTE&T) Orissa, Cuttack and State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT) Orissa, Bhubaneswar have their affiliation to this Institute. The main objective is to impart job oriented engineering education and training with modern technology based practical facilities to the students keeping in view for the upliftment of technical education standard in this competitive era. Ours is a premier engineering Institute with adequate teaching facilities, well equipped workshops and laboratories, modern library with adequate books and journals and having high qualified and experienced faculty members.
